Horseback Riding
All Horseback riding, Horse Rentals, Horse Leases, Adventure Rides, Sunset Rides, Lunch Rides and Dinner Rides are by reservation only so please call ahead to schedule your trail rides.
Riders must be 7 years of age to go on trail, and not greater than 250 pounds. For Children under 7 we offer pony rides in our outdoor lighted arena.
We offer a one hour, a hour and a half and a two hour trail ride. All the rides are in and around the Angeles National Forest. We will need some information from you to begin the process because we want to make sure you are matched up with the proper horse and saddle. Your comfort is important to us so we need to know some details about you and your riding group. In this way everyone can be assured of a fun and memorable ride.
Beginners to Advanced Riders can feel safe in knowing we have matched you up with a good horse that you will be able to control and enjoy riding. On our trail ride we will walk, trot and canter but only when you are comfortable and ready to do so.
Proper clothing is important for the enjoyment of a great ride so wear boots or shoes with heels and long pants. Check our FAQ page for more details about proper clothing for riding horses.
Intermediate to Experienced Rider can enjoy our regular trail rides listed and many other types of riding.
There are exhilarating mountain rides and fast paced trotting and cantering on steep trails, sandy hills, water rides and mountain top rides. There is also lunch rides and dinner rides on horseback to local restaurants and stores.
On the water ride you can swim with the horses so bring a sack lunch and clothing you can change into for swimming. You can also enjoy our Sunrise and Sunset Rides.
There is also competition riding where you can rent or lease our horses and compete in Gymkhana, Team Penning, Team Sorting and Poker Runs.
