SCCS Graduates Pursue Their Passions
The school year has come to a successful close at Santa Clarita Christian School, and we have graduated another group of seniors, sending them out fully prepared for what the Lord has for their lives.
However, to say that we have simply graduated our seniors would miss the mark. SCCS does more than just move students through coursework; help students earn a transcript to get them accepted to the college of their choice; or provide a diploma.
It would be more accurate to say that SCCS commissioned its graduating class in May, as each of our seniors will now spread out across the country. Each student has been carefully guided by SCCS’s faculty and administration to be successful in the areas in which they excel.
Too many schools (both private and public) advance the myth that education is about earning top awards, getting into top schools, and attending a top university. But, SCCS pursues a true education for all its students, not just for a select few. What does your child do well? Where do they enjoy success? Who do they want to be?
These are all questions that those who teach and disciple children at SCCS ask. At SCCS we help students discover what they are passionate about and help them continue to pursue those passions after they graduate. Every year SCCS students are accepted to the nation’s top universities. Their options are endless.
When we look at the variety of choices our seniors have made for themselves for next year, we smile. Our students have learned much while at SCCS, but we can rest knowing that they have been guided to pursue the talents the Lord has given them and to do that with excellence.
SCCS partners with families to produce students who are prepared to make a difference in the world for God. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, intimate class sizes, competitive sports for grades K-12, dual enrollment and Advanced Placement classes, SCCS students continue to matriculate into the nation’s top universities.
SCCS is now enrolling for the 2017-18 school year. Space is limited and filling fast! School begins on Tuesday, August 15.
