Why Now is the Time to Consider that Move
January and February traditionally are our slower months in Santa Clarita for Real Estate but this year is turning out to be anything but traditional. With any election year, we saw a bit of tentativeness in the behaviors of our buyers and sellers up until this month. Now it appears that folks are more focused on 2017 and beyond and ready to make transitions.
That said, rates remain very favorable and that will help you buyers out there over the long term 30 years (or sooner) especially in the higher end. The compound benefit of saving even half of a percent is drastic and shouldn’t be under valued. Inventory remains low (yet slowly gaining) so if you are thinking about putting your place on the market, now is the time to look at numbers and scenarios while supply and demand works in your favor and you can get a nice and fun feeding frenzy if priced right and positioned well to the marketplace.
As we get closer to the Summer, we expect inventory to open-up and provide a new dynamic for us to work with. This can be great and can be harmful. As always we will help you navigate the current conditions and set you up to win no matter which way the winds blow.
