Celebrity Waiter Dinner Completes The Mission!
The SCV Senior Center wants to thank the community leaders and supporters that joined us on March 3, for our annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner Event. Co-Chairs Tony Watson and Kelly Smudde kicked off the evening by thanking sponsors and celebrity waiters for coming together to support such a great organization. Brian Koegle, emceed the evening’s festivities with top secret games, double agents and mischievous pranks. Support of committee members, sponsors, celebrity waiters, staff, volunteers and community members helped the SCV Senior Center raise almost $150,000 to support the programs and services offered to our seniors to promote their quality of life.
The Elks Lodge “Get Smart” tabled theme won the table decoration award. The Stanley Award went to Robin Clough and Gene Dorio for collecting the most amount of scrip (pre-event fundraising and night of scrip collection). A special shout out to Myles McNamara of Comfort Keepers for showing a tremendous amount of support by making the largest scrip donation of the evening. Lastly, thank you to the Sand Canyon Country Club and staff for a wonderful experience.
