Brew-News on Main Street
With the downtown Newhall parking structure now open, visiting Brewery Draconum couldn’t be easier.
The family owned-and-operated brewpub and beer garden promised to deliver a craft beer, dining, and social experience unlike any other in the Santa Clarita Valley and they are hitting the mark.
With their selection of 20 craft beers on tap, nine of which are currently their house creations and include: Ebondrake (Baltic Porter), ICA Good Time (Imperial Cream Ale), Saison Draconoum (Saison), ABVaf (Belgian Golden Strong), Siduri (West Coast IPA), Juicy Drake (IPA), Gutterhead (Imperial Red Ale), Rye-Curious (Rye Pale Ale), and Something Else (American Hefeweizen), they also feature a rotation of local and regional brews. You can always count on two sours, one cider and a nitro or two. Currently in the works… their summer brews which will include Melonkolschy (Kolsch), and a Golden Ale.
The elevated pub-style menu infuses the unique flavors of some of the house brews into many of their signature dishes resulting in a smooth, well-paired gastronomic experience.
The social aspect has grown even more vibrant as they feature live music on Thursdays, Yoga Sundays once a month (Villa Vibes Yoga), Tap Takeovers (most recently Modern Times), and soon they will begin hosting summer Bocce Ball and Corn Hole tournaments (stay tuned).
The atmosphere has proven to be not only great for an afternoon or evening getaway, but has attracted those looking to host private parties and company events.
Having recently participated in the BBQ & Brews festival in May, Brewery Draconum has been invited to join in and pour at Boots & Brews in Central Park on June 16, so be on the lookout!
Then stay tuned for details on their next special brunch opening for Father’s Day – and a special breakfast/brunch opening on the 4th of July in honor of the annual parade.
For more information on upcoming music and events, please call: 661-568-9160 or visit the location in the heart of Newhall: 24407 Main Street in Santa Clarita.
