Announcing Our Stars, Professional Dancers Sponsors for SCV Dancing With Our Stars
Many of the 2018 celebrity dancers are already practicing their moves, raising funds and setting the stage for another amazing year! Last year took us over the million-dollar mark, with a fundraising total of $1.5 million since the inaugural event in 2003, and this is sure to be another hit! Join us Friday, August 24 at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center as we cheer on new and longtime community leaders under the spotlight.
Our 8th annual competition features celebrity dancers alongside a lineup of brand new and returning professional dancers, many of whom are from D’Wilfri DanceArt and Entertainment and Vibe Performing Arts, which stepped up in a big way this year! Opening the show will be a special performance you will not want to miss with more stunning dances that are sure to follow!
“With many new faces and our special opening act, we are more excited than ever to share this lively show with our community,” said Alexander Hafizi, Vice President and event co-chair. “We’re very grateful to the contributions from our professional dance partners and leading sponsors. Their support has made this year more exciting than ever!”
Each year, celebrity dancers and professional dancers pair up to raise money for the non-profit organization they’ve chosen to represent. Guests will have the opportunity to cast money votes using script, and dancing partners also will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges. All proceeds raised from this non-for-profit event are donated directly to the benefitting organizations, including ticket sales.
This event would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors: Elliot and Judith Wolfe Family Trust, HomeSmart Team Bjorkman, Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology and the City of Santa Clarita. Thanks to their support, we are able to host an event that supports 21 local non-profits and raises thousands of dollars for this community.
The ticket price is $50 per person and are available at http://bit.ly/SCVDWOSTickets2018. We hope to see you on August 24!
