How to be Happier, Healthier and Wealthier
Do you want more out of life? I’m simply asking do you want more out of life? Maybe to You, that means more happiness and maybe that means more money or more respect. Maybe you want more love or all of the above.
I know a man who is smart and successful and is also critical of everything and everyone in his life. When he walks into a room he looks for what’s wrong versus what’s right. Guess what he finds? Through looking for faults, he has become an expert at finding faults in people, places, things and ideas.
What we focus on or fixate on is what we find. And if you’re not finding what you fixate on, you will either attract it to you or yourself to it.
If you believe me (even a little bit), then shouldn’t you focus and fixate on the things you want not the things you fear? Shouldn’t we fixate on building up versus tearing down? This is especially true in how you view yourself. What you say to yourself matters the most because ultimately, you will believe yourself.
Studies show that gratefulness and especially the expression of it to others is associated with increased energy, optimism and empathy.
We finish every class at Ignition Fitness with the expression “Grateful and Happy”! I challenge you to look for the best of yourself and the best of others. Because, the truth is, you’ll get what you’re looking for.
