How Does Tattoo Removal Work?
We utilize our Q Switch 532 and 1064 lasers to remove tattoos. We effectively treat all tattoo colors safely and effectively. The lasers break up the pigmentation in the tattoo.
What should I expect during treatment?
We take every precaution to ensure that each treatment is comfortable. We recommend that our patients arrive approximately 30-minutes before their appointment so that numbing cream can be applied. We also utilize a cooling device to make sure that the treatments are comfortable and safe.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments depends entirely on the size of the tattoo as well as the ink used for the tattoo. Most patients need between five to 12 treatments to remove their tattoos (results may vary). All colors may be removed safely and effectively, however, colors such as red and yellow tend to be a bit more stubborn than colors such as black or dark blue and may need more treatments to be effectively removed.
Who is a good candidate for tattoo removal? If you are healthy and don’t currently have medical conditions and are not pregnant, chances are you will be a good candidate. We successfully treat patients of all skin types and of all ages.
