Refreshing Facials After Summer

For dry skin: Give skin a boost of hydration with a hydrating facial. Even in Summer, hydration can still become an issue after swimming in chlorinated water, spending hours in the air conditioning or getting a lot of sun exposure. In addition to wearing sunscreen, a hydrating facial can help get parched skin glowing again.
For oily skin: Control oil and breakouts with a pore clearing facial. During the humid summer months oil production tends to ramp up for many people. If the body senses that the skin is getting hot blood vessels send more blood to the surface to help cool things down. The increase in blood can cause skin to kick oil production into overdrive. During a pore cleansing facial, skin will be gently exfoliated to remove oil and toxins.
For sun-exposed skin: Correct sun damage with a brightening facial. Sun damage can accelerate the aging process, causing excessively dry skin, fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration. When the UV index is high, only 10 to 15 minutes in the sun make you start feeling the effects.
Brightening facials are a great solution for exfoliating away sun damage. During the treatment, dead skin cells are buffed and melted away using a glycolic solution and microdermabrasion. This facial can be done on even the most sensitive skin and significantly improves the tone and texture of your skin. For severely sun damaged skin, you may need to get a series of this facial.
