Love Your Curls Always!

 Do you want to love your curly hair? Just make sure you condition, lack of hydration is the biggest culprit to frizz and unruly hair. Humidity causes frizz, especially when it’s not hydrated. Combating frizz starts in the shower. Cleanse using a hydrating cleanser like DevaCurl no poo or low poo; next you must condition using DevaCurl Melt into Moisture or Hair in Heaven; leave it in for 20 minutes for best results. I love to alternate my one condition and Hair in Heaven every other wash. The second layer of hydration comes from styling products. I like to start with a Layer of Cream, but for even more moisture, try DevaCurl’s Decadence Leave in Conditioner. DevaCurl has three hair creams for your hydration needs. From most hydration to least (Supercream, Styling Cream, Wave Maker). Supercream is for thirsty, dry hair. Styling Cream is for curls that just need a little extra moisture and soft hold. Lastly Wave Maker is a lightweight formula, excellent for wavy hair. Creams are great to use from mid-length to ends. For volume keep the creams away from the scalp. Next, layer up a gel to lock in definition. Arc Angel Gel provides UV protectant and has the strongest hold and will allow your curls to last longer. For lighter hold use light or ultra-defining gel. These two give the softest curls with no crunch. To refresh curls spread product over the top of the surface of your hair to lay the frizzes down. You pump the products into your hands and lightly spread the products over the top layer of your hair and voila, love your curls again!
