They are truly a treasure when it comes to finding reasonably priced vintage/antique furniture. The July furniture sale begins June 29. It’s a great opportunity to snag that piece you have had your eye on. There will also be a number of pieces on the floor brought in specially for the sale, so you can expect to find great new treasures. The July Furniture sale will additionally feature pieces that are ideal for your own DIY, upcycling or repurposing projects. Barn and Charm offers a wide assortment of workshops for all ages. Workshops started with the many products that are sold at the shop such as DIY Clay Paints, Iron Orchid Design products, General Finishes Gel Stains and Sealers and embellishing finishes. With the popularity of the workshops and the store its self, Barn and Charm has added many more skill set and special interest workshops and even education/lecture workshops, many given from their own talented dealers.
Tina Decker is a talented designer found in a couple popular sections of the store with her antiques and her beautiful merchandising skills. She shares her talents in the popular five-week water color series as well as a variety of succulent workshops throughout the year.
Kathy Tanabe can be found in three different areas of the store. She also has a talented eye for detail, and she shares her skills as she guides the Calligraphy workshops. Owner Carol Reesha instructs most of the paint and IOD related workshops. She is always looking to chat with her clients and collaborate on something together.
One thing is for sure, no month is ever the same with the workshop schedule or the merchandise in the store.
“I have some customers that come in weekly to see our inventory. Working with a number of vendors each day you just never know what is going to show up,” shared Carol. “Our store is ever-changing with new workshops and instructors — it’s wonderful.” See our Ad for the July workshop schedule.
