Hart Regiment Hosts the 36th Rampage!
Rampage is coming to town on Saturday, November 2, 2019. It’s the 36th year that the Hart Regiment of William S. Hart High School will be hosting this spectacular event – one of the largest Marching Band and Field Show Tournaments in Southern California.
Rampage, which typically features 35 marching band/color guard teams, will be held at College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium. Approximately 6000 friends, family, and music/dance enthusiasts gather every year to cheer on the talented performers. All local Santa Clarita high schools are anticipated to take part in this year’s event. Rampage 2019 will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude around 9 p.m. with a mass drum line and awards ceremony. Do not miss it!
Cougar Stadium is located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon, Valencia. Parking is free and tickets can be purchased at the gate, $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and children under 5 are always free. There will be refreshments, food, as well as opportunities to buy Rampage products and raffle tickets for great prizes and gifts.
The Hart Regiment consists of the top-notch marching band and color guard team, which has been recognized for its excellent musicianship and showmanship over the years. In fact, under the direction of Band Director Anthony Bailey, the Regiment has won the SCSBOA (Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association) state championship in its category a total of 14 times since 2002. This achievement is unmatched by any other. The students give a 100 percent effort during the numerous hours they practice their music, movements and routines throughout the season. On and off the field they are an excellent example of hard work, determination, and teamwork. Rampage is Hart Regiment’s top fundraiser, so come out, support, and enjoy a great day filled with fantastic music and entertainment.
