Double Trouble Wine Room
Hoi Polloi Winery and Pagter Brothers Wineries on Main Street in Old Town Newhall where they share the aptly named Double Trouble Wine Room.
The Double Trouble Wine Room brings a bit of California Wine Country to Old Town Newhall.
“We both source world-class grapes from top California vineyards in Paso Robles, Santa Barbara County and Sonoma, and meticulously handcraft small lots of fruit forward wines at our shared winery here in Santa Clarita,” declares Scott Page-Pagter of Pagter Brothers.
The spacious, airy room and large comfortable back patio area make it a perfect place to relax and bring your own food, cheese, or to order from Newhall restaurants or visiting food trucks.
The winemakers themselves are almost always present and happy to share their knowledge as well as their wines. “All leave with a story and an understanding of how our wines are made,” says Hoi Polloi’s Ted Behlendorf.
Double Trouble Wine Room features excellent live music on most weekends. Wine club members receive discounts, limited–release wines and special parties.
“We set out to create a fun, friendly, comfortable place to hang out, not a stuffy snobbish tasting room experience where you stand up and get moved out,” states Doug Minnick from Hoi Polloi. “Plus, think of all the time and gas money you can save without the drive to wine country!” laughs Minnick.
For the Wine Country feel without the hassle and drive stop by The Double Trouble Wine Room located at 24338 Main Street, Old Town Newhall or call in today for more information 661 476-5627.
