Tell Me Something Good Santa Clarita
The primary purpose of this project is to highlight great works going on in our community during the COVID19 project. We wish to highlight stories of everyday heroes and empower our members to perform their own acts of kindness while practicing physical distancing and staying safe and healthy.
JCI Santa Clarita and Santa Clarita Magazine have partnered up to run a social media and traditional media campaign where everyone can submit positive stories to us. These stories will be featured on our JCI social media platforms and the top stories highlighted each month in Santa Clarita Magazine.
What do we want from the Community? We want to highlight great work and deeds going on. We want people to email the stories in and use hashtags. We want to see if we can get local civic leaders to do short videos highlighting good deeds in the community and highlighting this project as we want it to go viral within our community. We will contact non profits we know asking them for any good deeds that they have seen that have helped them or good deeds they need.
We will ask everyone to email the stories to jcisantaclarita@gmail.com or to tag us in on social media and use the following hashtags #TellUsSomethingGood #SCVCares #SCVDoGood. When we highlight a good deed, we will post a link to a donation site if there is one available.
