Celebrating the Class of 2020
On Friday, June 5, the College of the Canyons Class of 2020 will join the ranks of the nearly 25,000 alumni who have earned a degree from COC over the past 50 years. We had planned a celebration fitting for our golden anniversary year when no one imagined we would instead be celebrating virtually due to a global pandemic. While we can’t be together, we absolutely need to celebrate the successes of our students. This time is too important to let pass without recognition. A college graduation is a big deal!
If crisis reveals character, the Class of 2020 showed us what they are truly made of during the past few months. They demonstrated tremendous courage and grit in the face of the unknown. Their relentless spirit and determination to push forward is what our society needs now more than ever. I am convinced their creativity and compassion will result in a future that is even better than the past.
I wish to congratulate the entire College of the Canyons Class of 2020 for reaching their goals, as well as their friends and families who have supported them along the way. I am excited about your journeys. You are our future!
Congratulations, From the Staff members at College of the Canyons.
