Santa Clarita Soccer Center is Ready to Kick Open Its Doors Again
For 25 years Santa Clarita Soccer Center has been a thriving business that has provided physical fitness activities for the Santa Clarita Valley. Since the Stay-At-Home order, this thriving business has been in survival mode and is excited to reopen their doors. “I put my heart and soul into this business and it is now our goal to get back to business for the community,” commented owner, Scott Schauer. As our community is finding its new normal, the Santa Clarita Soccer Center is ensuring safety within the facility. “We want to make it safe, to answer the request of our customers, we have installed wash stations…there are areas throughout the facility where you can wash your hands or you can use the newly installed hand sanitizer locations,” Scott continued.
The Santa Clarita Soccer Center, like most businesses, has many challenges ahead and will be opening up in phases. The first phase is to get our out-of-school sports camps back open,” We want to provide a safe space for the children of our essential worker’s and we will uphold social distancing measures until further notice,” Scott added. At this time the summer camps are limited to groups of 10. “ It is my understanding that masks are required unless there is only children present, masks may be optional,” Scott commented. ”For a quarter of a century we have always thrived and this is the first time we had to ‘survive’ but we are ready to open our doors as along as the government and our customers believe it is safe. We want to give our loyal clients the ability, if they wish, to play soccer or join in any of the activities available and, at the same time, respect those who are not ready to come back,” Scott said.
