Supporting Local: Santa Clarita the Small City with a Big Heart
At a time when we are asked to distance ourselves and stay home, how can we still serve the community and practice connection at a distance? Many local businesses, including our own were closed as “non-essential” and are challenged with finding creative ways to survive and continue to serve the community. For many, we are navigating social media to the best of our abilities, learning new software, and adjusting to new technologies but sometimes it comes down to simply fulfilling the needs of our customers as we still try to celebrate life as usual. Birthdays still come around, people are still celebrating retirement, celebrating new family members, overcoming scary challenges, and passing new milestones. A new school year will begin in August as the school’s embark on another distant learning journey. We encourage you to shop local, to think of neighbors and your favorite local shops. Every purchase you make is a vote you cast to keep them here for the future, beyond the pandemic. You can support by continuing to engage with them; tune into local live video events, make one-on-one appointments, or try curbside pick-up. Santa Clarita is a small city with a big heart, it beats in service of its community members and supports its local infrastructure. As we have once again opened and are back to a new normal, wearing masks in the store and social distancing we are still here to serve you and help you with any gift choices you may have. Our boutique was created to include all members of the family across the full spectrum of life. We hope to continue to connect with and serve the families of Santa Clarita. We would love to hear from you and best wishes to you and your families. In Good Company can be reached at 661-481-0103. Please look us on Facebook@ingoodcompanystore or @ingoodcompany_scv.
