Logix Members Participate in Campaign to Help Local Hospitals
In August, Logix Federal Credit Union brought back its Paying with a Purpose campaign. This time, when members made a purchase or payment using a Logix Mastercard® credit and debit card, the local financial institution donated two cents for every member transaction with purchases to local hospitals.
Health care heroes need the community’s support now more than ever, as they continue to diagnose and treat patients with COVID-19.
The goal was to reach $50,000 (that’s five million cents!) by August 31 for these worthy organizations: Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital (HMNH), Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital, Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank.
“We’re fortunate to have members who truly care about the community,” Community Relations Manager Alethia Calagias said. “And, we’ve had a partnership with Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for nearly two decades. To have this opportunity to give back in this way is meaningful to Santa Clarita residents, the hospital staff and its patients. It’s a privilege to make a difference in this way.”
More than 36,000 members of Logix are SCV residents, with five branches in the area – Bridgeport, Golden Valley, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia Promenade and Valencia Bouquet Canyon. Branches are open to provide service, and appointments can be made online.
Chartered in 1937, Logix Federal Credit Union offers a full menu of financial services, and surcharge-free access to 35,000 ATMs nationwide. Logix Federal Credit Union is rated “superior” for financial strength, and is the largest credit union headquartered in Los Angeles County, with more than 200,000 members and $7 billion in assets.
