Home For the Holidays!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays are here and decorating your home should be fun and easy. To make your home feel cozy for the holidays you may want to add color to your design. Red, green, gold and blue are holiday colors but don’t feel afraid to stray past red and green. Add comfortable throw pillows, throw a blanket on your sofa, and add seasonal plants or greenery. Of course, adding twinkling lights also look very nice not only on your tree but If you have a mantle or fireplace deck it out with garland and white candles.
You can even frame your windows in lights. Be sure to add jingle bells to the front doorknob with a festive holiday ribbon.
The living room is the heart of your home, especially during the holidays so embrace the spirit of the holidays and make it the focal point. Decorate the fireplace with garland and candles and hang your stockings. No mantel in your living room? Add festive accessories like throw pillows, blankets and other holiday touches to give your room the charm it needs. For the dining room simply add a long bow around your dining chair in colors that match your holiday decor. Add a simple centerpiece on your dining table that features either green succulents or evergreen with pinecones and Christmas ornaments is an easy solution.
