New Year…New You!
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, New Year’s resolutions are a good thing. If you struggle to believe that, it’s probably because of a history of failed resolutions. This year, however, you owe it to yourself to become the new person you want to be. You’re going to do it to remind yourself that yes, you can do whatever you put your mind to—you can become a better person.
Ready to get started on the road to a new you? These are our Top 3 Resolutions to get you on the road to a New You.
Resolution #1: Sweat in the AM
In today’s world, it can be difficult to find the time to exercise. One way to increase your odds for exercising each day is to knock it out first thing in the morning. In 2022, resolve to exercise first thing in the morning, before you day gets started.
Resolution #2: Swap One Meal
Eating right is a major component of a healthy lifestyle. And it can be scary and intimidating. Start with one meal at a time. For example, if you normally have carb loaded pastries for breakfast, swap in some oatmeal with fresh fruit, or yogurt with chia seeds. You’ll not only cut calories but add needed fiber and nutrients..If you only choose to make one resolution this year make it this one – you’ll be astounded at the quick results this simple daily swap will deliver.
Resolution #3: Push Your Body
Know that half marathon or hike in Yosemite you’ve been considering? This is the year you train and fuel yourself properly for that race or event. Find someone with the same goal, make a plan and get started. Once you complete your first goal and see that it wasn’t as impossible as you once thought, you may just find yourself setting even bigger goals for next year.
