2022 Is Off To A Great Start

6 Degrees HR Consulting an outsourced human resource firm that she founded out of a Starbucks coffee house in 2014, is now trademarked in anticipation of franchising to other states by 2024. She also launched a two story billboard campaign for the company that will run through July 2022.
“I literally cried when I saw it for the first time. Knowing what it took to get to this place from where I started was an emotional moment for me. The response has been overwhelming and I feel so blessed to be able to say I started a thriving company in the Santa Clarita Valley that supports other companies. In addition to her thriving business she has assembled a dream team for her city council run that has already scheduled many meet and greets as well as campaign fundraising events for this summer. Diana Pretzlaff, a political fundraiser, recently relocated to Santa Clarita and Selina’s campaign fundraising director says. “It’s been so exciting to reach out to people in the community about Selina and everyone I call immediately wants to lend support. Everyone I contact has nothing but positive things to say about her. I have fund raised for many other candidates and the way people respond when I talked to them about her is inspiring. Selina is a very rare type of candidate, people see her compassion for people and her hard-work. I am honored to be part of her campaign.”
“The difference in this campaign is that I have a great group of people around me and more time to run. Everyone on my team is special and they believe in my vision for service in our community. The grassroots effort is truly turning into a movement and it’s palpable whenever I am out and about. People I have never met let me know they appreciate my positive campaign and my outlook. That tells me I’m in the right place and I’ll continue to do that. I look forward to campaigning in person all summer.”
Recently honored by the COC Business Alliance for her contributions in business in Santa Carita for Black History Month Selina was grateful for the recognition.
“When long standing community institutions like COC recognize you, it makes all the sacrifice and hard-work worth it. I’m excited about the relationships I built this year and the on going collaborations I have to help the businesses in this awesome town.”
Selina is looking forward to her daughters final season of softball at Saugus High school and traveling nationally to support her in her final travel season.
“This time is priceless for me and it came so fast. Next year she will be off to college playing at the next level and I hope to be busy with a new role with the City of Santa Clarita.”
