Live Music and Good Eats Smokehouse On Main
Smokehouse on Main combines down home, homemade menu items with live music and entertainment to bring that southern flair, right here in the Santa Clarita Valley. When owner Cherie McGraham first opened Smokehouse on Main in Old Town Newhall she wanted to use her lifetime of experience in the restaurant industry and love for family and music to create a space where people can just come and enjoy themselves in a very welcoming environment.
Cherie brings an elevated approach to dining. “I started working in this industry when I was 14 and continued with bartending and other areas until I was able to own my own restaurant,” Cherie commented.
With a strong work ethic and eye for detail, Cherie and her team of dining professionals offer a unique way to dine that’s inspired by some of the best barbeque places in the world. “Before this restaurant opened, you could not find real homemade southern barbeque here. When I was in Nashville, I saw how the restaurants were known for their homestyle cooking and entertainment; so we brought that to the SCV with 90 percent of our menu being homemade,” Cherie added. “From the rubs to the barbeque sauces, a lot of the menu selection is homemade. We offer something for everyone on our menu that satisfies that craving for comfort food.”
Please come join them for live music in the Smokehouse Lounge six days a week and Karaoke on Wednesday! “Aside from our great food, live music brings people here. There are so few places to go for live music, and I am happy to give that to our customers.” Cherie continued. “We offer a full bar and have later hours with food served with a late night menu. We have great drink specials too! We also have a removable wall window for your open air dining experience. New changes coming soon so stay tuned!! “
