Don’t Worry Choose to be Happy
Don’t you wish you could have a crystal ball that told you exactly what to expect in life? It’s nice to think that if we know what’s next, we will have full control over our lives. It’s truly impossible to control every possibility. When life is comfortable, we can believe that things will be okay. But how do we let go of doubts during the hard times?
Since the past is gone, and the future hasn’t happened yet, all we have is the here and now. When we obsess over the could’ve, would’ve and should’ve of the past, we rob ourselves from living in this moment. Not accepting our past mistakes is keeping us stuck. In fact, our mistakes make wonderful opportunities for learning and growth for us. Acknowledge that we did our best with the knowledge we had, and the circumstances presented to us at the time.
Know that your past does not define who you are now. When we have moments of self judgement, fear, sadness, and anxiety, be aware of them and allow them pass, so you can move on. Be aware that worries only lead to more worries and positive attitude lead to more positivity.
One of my favorite sayings is “Worrying is like sitting on a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but it gets you nowhere”. Only we’re responsible for our thoughts and feelings. We have the power to keep negativity from taking over our days and drag us down, by instead elevating our mindset to a place of light and joy.
Wherever your thoughts are, that’s where you are. It’s in your control to get focused and elevate your thoughts to the here and now. Start each day as a clean slate with a prayer or meditation to find clarity. Set your intention daily. Answers will come and unfold eventually. It takes discipline and patience to relax and trust that the universe will send abundance and blessings your way without the need to know in advance what’s next.
Have a clear vision of what you wish to attract . Good, positive energy and mindset helps us harness positivity and gratitude. Be always open to new possibilities for growth and improvement. Surround yourself with encouragement, self-help books, music, and fun activities. You deserve to have a bright and worry-free day. Start right here and right now.
