Anna Griese Running for Saugus Union School District Area 2
As a mom to a 5th grader at North Park Elementary, I have also experienced the frustrations and lack of communication parents and teachers have felt. We deserve to have parental representation at SUSD, to help preserve parental rights in schools. We need to hold those accountable who are creating the curriculum, establishing district wide policies, creating budgets and spending taxpayer dollars. I will bring your voice to the board; and ensure we have more collaboration and input from all parents. I will make sure you have access and input in your child’s education. My focus will be on the following to ensure the best educational setting for our kids: 1. Parental engagement and input from SUSD parents. 2. Ensure communication from the district to the public. 3. Age-appropriate curriculum, fostering an environment free from political influence. 4. Updating policies to reflect our changing community. 5. Creating opportunities for all students to succeed regardless of social and economic status. They are your kids, your schools and your tax dollars! Parents deserve to be heard. I would be honored to be your advocate for you and your children. For more information about Anne Griese go to www.electannagriese.com.
