Toastmasters – Local “Outliers” Chapter Open to New Members Success Comes Through Consistent Support with Toastmasters
“Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness follows.” – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Toastmasters is a special non-profit educational organization dedicated to self-improvement by teaching public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the organization’s membership exceeds 364,000 in more than 16,200 clubs in 145 countries. Because of its footprint on a local, area, division, national, and international level, members can visit any club’s meeting anywhere in the world in person or on a Zoom call to widen their exposure and knowledge of other countries.
Toastmasters was founded in 1924 in Santa Ana, California out of an affiliation with the YMCA. Through its governance, group meetings, Pathways lessons, evaluations, and other exercises during each meeting’s agenda it sparks both extraordinary individual triumph and group success. What is also remarkable is the variety of ways that member outcomes are manifested and advanced. This variety assures that Member Success is Real and Profound! Not just success in our minds. Not just success in our individual Toastmasters Club. Not just success in working through the Toastmasters Pathways assignments. We are fulfilling the Toastmasters Promise of Quality, and our success spans our home life, our work life, and our standing in our communities and neighborhoods.
Our Outliers Toastmasters Club is diverse and inclusive. Our families, co-workers, and other observers can’t help but perceive that there is something wonderfully different about living and working alongside each of us! We are privileged by having Tom Iland as our Founder and VP of Education. Tom holds several distinctions, including he is one of only 90 Toastmasters International Accredited Speakers in the world!
We are currently meeting remotely via the Zoom platform to carry on the vision, planning, collaboration, and creativity of Toastmasters. If you don’t know how to use the Zoom software but have access to a computer, call our VP of Education Tom Iland and he will help you join a meeting to check us out.
We invite everyone to experience the congeniality and the positive impact of success as a Toastmasters Club member. Our Club’s inspiration and determination is to bring success within reach of every member, no matter the level of experience and confidence. Mentoring is available. For more information about attending a Toastmasters meeting as our guest, please contact our VP of Education Tom Iland on 661-313-3323 or tom@thomasiland.com.
