F is For Family
Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday, and this year, we have so much to be thankful for. We are so thankful for our families, and when we go around the Thanksgiving table this year to say what we each are thankful for, I already have my answer.
First is our work family. As the managing partner of Owen, Patterson & Owen, my plate is filled to overflowing from morning to night. OPO could not help as many people as we do without the care and devotion of our attorneys and staff, all of whom are necessary to each case’s success. The attention to detail, the knowledge, and the compassion of each of these individuals makes OPO the law firm to go to when involved in an accident. They allow us to help people who need us.
Next are our children, who are scattered across the country. The depth of emotion my husband and partner, Greg, and I feel toward and from our loved ones keeps us going every day. Without the love and support of my family, I would not be able to manage the cases and clients of OPO. Starting out each morning with a call from my daughter in Washington D.C. and another from my daughter in Boulder, Colorado, I am energized each day to tackle new challenges in order to do the very best for our clients. When I get to the office, I am proud to see my son Beau, an accomplished attorney in his own right, doing everything possible to help those that trust us with their personal injury cases. They are counting on us to get them through a difficult time, and Beau rises to the challenge every time. Our other children know that we will help their friends and colleagues should they need anything, and we know that they value our contributions.
Finally, our clients in this community are also family. They know they can count on us to celebrate during the good times and be their “go-to” team in case of emergencies. This is a critical part of OPO’s culture. Our clients are the reason OPO exists. We are here to advise, support, guide, and lead them to the best recovery they can obtain after an accident.
We are so thankful. Have a wonderful holiday, and should you need us, we are here for you. Contact us at 888-OPO-WINS or go to www.opolaw.com.
