Fitness in the Paseo Club Community – The Paseo Club
Fall is in full swing at the Paseo Club, and our Season of Gratitude is filled with fun! At Paseo Club, we offer a variety of small group training options to help you achieve your fitness goals, including Tribe HIIT & Core, Tribe Extreme, Pilates Reformer, Prehab Before Rehab, and our newest cutting-edge addition, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training.
One of our most popular classes is HIIT & Core, an hour-long strength and conditioning class that features a variety of equipment, including barbells, weights, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, TRX straps, workout benches, and more. Each class is divided into four components: mobility to warm-up, strength training, an 8-12 minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout of the day, and some CORE-specific work before a cool-down. In each season, participants will spend two weeks building a foundation of strength and cardio, then add and build for two weeks, and finally finish the season with assessments and challenges to see how far they’ve come!
Our newest addition, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training, is a unique approach that fatigues muscles deeper than almost any other form of exercise, creating noticeable results while also being safer for users. Some of the benefits of BFR training include faster recovery, less pain, anti-aging properties, increased strength and endurance, and more. The method is also available to a more diverse population, meaning more people can use it compared to high-intensity and higher-impact exercises. Participants notice results sooner than most other forms of exercise, making it a highly rewarding option for those looking to get in shape quickly or anyone who is returning from an injury.
For those looking for a low-impact workout, Pilates Reformer is a great option. Pilates targets the entire body and provides a great workout without the strain of lifting heavy weights or the joint stress from jumping and landing on hard surfaces. Pilates is a core-based workout and can be an effective exercise for people with injuries, especially back issues. It has a way of making you feel taller, stronger, and leaner, and is a great option for those looking to improve their overall fitness.
At Paseo Club, the blend of so many great fitness options, plus fun on 12 tennis courts and 11 pickleball courts means there is something for everyone! The Holiday Season begins November 20 – there’s no better place to keep your goals intact heading into a new year!
