Improve Your Speaking And Leadership Skills
This month’s article starts with HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and warm greetings from our Toastmasters Outliers Family to yours. Cheers to all Santa Clarita Magazine readers!
Want to improve your speaking skills? Be more confident when you speak, using less filler words? Learn new techniques to better your Leadership Style and Team Building Skills?
If your answer is YES!, we are here for you and up to the challenges!
At Outliers, we are a club that have TABLE TOPICS during our meetings which you will find beneficial when impromptu speaking. We also teach aspects of communication, storytelling, delivery, evaluation, and meeting management. We have PATHWAYS, an educational platform offered in Toastmasters International. You can choose the Path that is best for you and learn skills that will be with you for life, having the potential to raise your self-assurance and skyrocket your impact in life and on others.
Join us in a meeting to see how we come together to practice meeting role assignments, group participation, and speech delivery. This collaboration is the wrap-around envelope that cinches our level of confidence. We welcome you to a safe space to practice, learn and become a more confident you.
Our local chapter is called the Outliers. We are a diverse group that meets on ZOOM from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Pacific on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Thursdays of each month, with quarterly HYBRID MEETINGS in Santa Clarita. Individual mentoring is available. To attend a meeting as our guest, contact our Founder and VP Education, Tom Iland. Note that Tom is one of less than 100 Accredited Speakers in the world, as well as being a Certified Human Potential Coach and a published author. Tom can be reached at 661-313-3323 or tom@thomasiland.com.
