Toastmasters – Local “Outliers” Chapter Invites You! THE FOUR D’s

Beware of the 4 D’s that can stop you from achieving goals or get in the way of your success. Don’t allow these obstacles get in the way of completing tasks or living your dream life. Distraction is the first D, letting things get in your way. These can include your hobby, occupation, online games, news or TV. Seek to have balance and practice good time management. The second D is Disruption. Upsetting news can come at any time, interfering with your normal flow of life. How you handle the situation will make all the difference. The third D is Destruction. It can come and shatter, wreak and devastate, leaving your life in ruins. During these times, it’s important to stay grounded, rid yourself of negative energy as well as get support, if needed. The fourth D is doubt. Please don’t allow self-doubt to set in your mind. Remember that you’ve got this and that you are able and capable!
At Outliers, we are a club that have TABLE TOPICS during our meetings which you will find beneficial when impromptu speaking. We also teach aspects of communication, storytelling, delivery, evaluation, and meeting management. We have PATHWAYS, an educational platform offered in Toastmasters International. You can choose the Path that is best for you and learn skills that will be with you for life, having the potential to raise your self-assurance and skyrocket your impact in life and on others.

We are a diverse group that meets on ZOOM from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Pacific on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Thursdays of each month, with quarterly HYBRID MEETINGS in Santa Clarita.
