Manifesting My Dream
As the new year approaches, I am filled with immense gratitude and excitement. Each year, we set goals and dream big, yet many of us hesitate to chase those dreams. Change is never easy, but it’s far from impossible.
Last month, I was honored to be elected as the 2025 president of the Santa Clarita Artists Association. This is the first time I’ve held such a prestigious position—one I never imagined achieving. Naturally, stepping into something new brings challenges. Self-doubt, fear of the unknown, rejection, anxiety about failure, and negative thoughts inevitably arise. However, I’ve learned that believing in myself and visualizing success can help me overcome these hurdles.
Shifting my mindset is key. Embracing change and meeting challenges head-on allows me to grow. With experience, determination, and a strong desire to succeed, I’m motivated to achieve my goals, one step at a time. Most importantly, I’m not alone in this journey. I’m fortunate to have the support of incredible colleagues who will teach and inspire me as I navigate this new role. Trusting myself and the process is all I need.
Looking back, I feel proud of how far I’ve come. As a young girl without access to art supplies, I never dreamed this path was possible. But our past doesn’t define us. Today, I know I’m in the right place at the right time, ready to create something meaningful. My blank canvas awaits, and I’m eager to fill it with vibrant colors and endless possibilities.
Here’s to an exciting year of dreaming, creating, and inspiring!
