Toastmasters – Local “Outliers” Chapter Invites You! Unite, When Days Feel Longer
When life is falling apart, the days feel so much longer. Words get misunderstood that were meant to make us stronger.
We are in a climate that’s toxic for some.
Others think the best is soon to come.
Each day feels more difficult to navigate.
As we risk being consumed by bigotry and hate.
All we can do is pray and hope for the best to be done.
May we be safe from the calamity that could come.
Through these tough times, let’s stand.
Together we must resist evil and tirelessly band.
Unite…we only have each other to be stronger.
It keeps the days from feeling alone and longer.
We have a partnership with Project Management Institute of Los Angeles (PMI-LA). Members can receive PDUs in The Outliers Toastmasters Club. If you are reading this, we would love for you to visit or tell a friend about us. Our doors are open to diversity and inclusion. Enhance your professional and personal life with us!
Are you a professional that gives presentations or speeches? Are you a teacher, politician or business owner? We are here to help sharpen your leadership and speaking skills. The Outliers are a Toastmasters club that has TABLE TOPICS during our meetings which you will find beneficial when impromptu speaking. We also teach aspects of communication, storytelling, delivery, body language, vocal variety, evaluation, and meeting management. We have PATHWAYS, an educational platform offered in Toastmasters International. You can choose the Path that is best for you and learn skills that will be with you for life, having the potential to raise your self-assurance and skyrocket your impact in life and on others.
We welcome you to join us in a safe space to practice, learn and become a more confident YOU.
Our local chapter is called the Outliers. We are a diverse group that meets on ZOOM from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Pacific on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Thursdays of each month, with quarterly HYBRID MEETINGS in Santa Clarita. Individual mentoring is available. To attend a meeting as our guest, contact our Founder and VP Education, Tom Iland. Note that Tom is one of less than 100 Accredited Speakers in the world, as well as being a Certified Human Potential Coach and a published author. Tom can be reached at 661-313-3323 or tom@thomasiland.com.
