Toastmasters – Local “Outliers” Chapter Invites You! Make Moves In May
It has been said that “April showers bring May flowers.” You may have also heard, “You reap what you sow.” Spring is a time that things grow. What seeds have you planted? Have you been waiting on something to grow and flourish? Going through the times of rain in our life can work out for our good! Every plant needs water to grow. Look at the pouring rain as experience gained. A storm can be taken as hard lessons that help us learn something that changed us forever. A snowstorm can be seen as hardship, loss, grief or pain. These weather patterns come and go, in comparison to our ever-changing situations and growth. Continue to sow good seeds that will grow. Dance in the rain…because one day it will all be a memory. Continue to forge your way in life. Learn from your past as it will make you wiser each season…and be sure to “Make Moves In May.”
We have a partnership with Project Management Institute of Los Angeles (PMI-LA). Members can receive PDUs in The Outliers Toastmasters Club. If you are reading this, we would love for you to visit or tell a friend about us. Our doors are open to diversity and inclusion. Enhance your professional and personal life with us!
Are you a professional that gives presentations or speeches? Are you a teacher, politician or business owner? We are here to help sharpen your leadership and speaking skills. The Outliers are a Toastmasters club that has TABLE TOPICS during our meetings which you will find beneficial when impromptu speaking. We also teach aspects of communication, storytelling, delivery, body language, vocal variety, evaluation, and meeting management. We have PATHWAYS, an educational platform offered in Toastmasters International. You can choose the Path that is best for you and learn skills that will be with you for life, having the potential to raise your self-assurance and skyrocket your impact in life and on others.
We welcome you to join us in a safe space to practice, learn and become a more confident YOU.
Our local chapter is called the Outliers. We are a diverse group that meets on ZOOM from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Pacific on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Thursdays of each month, with quarterly HYBRID MEETINGS in Santa Clarita. Individual mentoring is available. To attend a meeting as our guest, contact our Founder and VP Education, Tom Iland. Note that Tom is one of less than 100 Accredited Speakers in the world, as well as being a Certified Human Potential Coach and a published author.
