Spring Is In The Air
Can You Feel It? Spring is in the Air! I’m so grateful to live in a beautiful place with sparkling blue waters and mountains bursting with wildflowers. I was born in the spring, and maybe that’s why I feel like I come to life this time of year. I wake up each morning with a song in my heart, thankful for my health, my loved ones, and the like-minded people around me.
I find joy in visiting my elderly friends and connecting with younger people too—they all inspire me in different ways and remind me to be a better person. Complimenting others, interestingly enough, lifts my own spirits just as much as it lifts theirs.
My days begin with intention—a prayer, a moment of gratitude, and a search for something creative or inspiring. I love reading, writing, and playing word games. Some days, soft music helps me paint; other days, I need something lively to dance to.
Eating healthy feels easy this time of year with so many colorful fruits and vegetables in season. I enjoy hiking, walking, and gardening while birds chirp all around. Spring is truly a season of renewal and hope. As L.M. Montgomery once said, “That is one good thing about the world—there are always sure to be more springs.”
These aren’t new ideas, but they are worth revisiting. We need reminders to bring simple joys into our daily lives. Even with busy schedules, it’s up to us to create meaningful moments. These little things—free and full of joy—are what make life beautiful.
So now is the perfect time to spring into action—and do more of what makes us happy.
