A Note From the Publishers – June 2025
Welcome to our June issue of Santa Clarita Magazine! Summer is finally here, and with it comes a wave of energy, celebration, and community connection. Whether you’re looking for ways to enjoy the sunshine, support local nonprofits, or make memories with family and friends, we’ve packed this issue with inspiration and information to make the most of this vibrant season.
We’re especially proud to feature three incredible events on our cover this month. Kicking things off is Feel the Rhythm at the 2025 Summer Breeze Music Festival, at Cal Arts, happening Saturday, June 7. Expect an exciting evening of live music, and community spirit! On June 21, Circle of Hope Cancer Wellness Center invites you to the Hoedown for Hope at Gilchrist Farm—an evening of BBQ, music, and dancing, all in support of their vital wellness programs. And for the adventurers among us, WiSH Education Foundation presents Over the Edge, a thrilling fundraiser where participants rappel down a building to raise money for public education. Three very different events, one amazing community.
June also brings the return of the SCV’s 2nd Annual Eat Drink Local Festival, a family-friendly day celebrating local flavors, drinks, and live entertainment—a true treat for all ages.
Over at Valencia Town Center, the season is in full swing. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or just soaking up the air conditioning, VTC is a hub of summer activity and celebration. With Father’s Day and Graduation on the horizon, we’ve rounded up some great gift ideas for the Dads and Grads in your life—don’t miss our special features.
We also shine a spotlight on the merchants of Old Town Newhall, where creativity, flavor, and charm collide. With its trendy boutiques, inviting restaurants, galleries, and performance spaces, it’s the perfect place to stroll, shop, and savor summer nights.
Inside this issue, you’ll find our Summer Activities Directory for Kids, perfect for planning your child’s adventures over the break. And be sure to explore our Dining Section, packed with seasonal favorites and local gems.
As always, we love celebrating our community, and our On The Town photo features do just that—showcasing recent fundraisers, milestones, and events that bring Santa Clarita together.
Be sure to check out our Calendar of Events on the last page—it’s your guide to what’s happening all month long.
Here’s to a summer full of connection, celebration, and community pride.
Warmly,
Linda, Moe & Alexander Hafizi
