Toastmasters – Local “Outliers” Chapter Invites You! How Are You Doing?
How are you doing? How are things going for you? It’s important to check in on friends, family and loved ones, just to see how they are. Times are really tough for some people. There have been a lot of changes that are happening quickly. Jobs, friends, homes and living situations are changing. Some may be affected and are not talking about it. Many times people keep what they are experiencing, feeling or thinking to themselves. This can cause even more anxiety and stress. Feeling alone, unheard or even unseen can lead to depression. Seek therapy or other help, if needed, and don’t ignore red flags. Don’t feel you are alone in life or have to do it all alone. While you don’t need to share all your personal business nor secrets, it’s important you have someone in your corner that you can trust and talk to. I pray you are all doing okay and will do what you need to do to take care of you. I encourage you today to create a better way for yourself and help others along the way. Ask someone “How are you doing?“ and mean it from your heart.
We have a partnership with Project Management Institute of Los Angeles (PMI-LA). Members can receive PDUs in The Outliers Toastmasters Club for each meeting you attend.
We welcome you to join us in a safe space to practice, learn and become a more confident you.
Our local chapter is called the Outliers. We are a diverse group that meets on ZOOM from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Pacific on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Thursdays of each month, with quarterly HYBRID MEETINGS in Santa Clarita. Individual mentoring is available. To attend a meeting as our guest, contact our Founder and VP Education, Tom Iland.
