Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative to Host Annual “Marching On” Fundraiser Honoring Local Veterans – Saturday, September 13, 2025
The Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative (SCVSC), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting those who served, will host its annual fundraising event, “Marching On,” on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Santa Clarita Studios.
The evening will be held at Santa Clarita Studio, hosted by U.S. vet, Mike DeLorenzo. Guests can expect an inspiring night featuring live entertainment from “JACK’D” (back again by popular demand, but under a new name), casual dining provided by Copper Hill BBQ, and powerful stories honoring the dedication and sacrifices of veterans and active-duty military members.
Tickets for the event are $80. The evening will also feature a silent auction, and the Collaborative is currently seeking donation items for the auction.
All proceeds from the event will directly support Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative’s essential programs, which include medical and dental care, employment assistance, legal services, housing support, financial counseling, and a food pantry that serves local veterans and their families.
The Collaborative is proud to recognize this year’s major sponsors, including Kathryn Barger (Medal of Honor Title Sponsor), George Whitesides (Bronze Star), and Felicia Jurado Insurance (Purple Star). A variety of additional sponsorship opportunities are available, offering valuable benefits such as reserved seating, program acknowledgment, and social media recognition.
Dennis Sugasawara, Chair and Director of Business and Community Relations, shared his enthusiasm for the event: “We are incredibly proud to be a 100% volunteer organization. This means that when you attend ‘Marching On,’ every dollar raised on September 13 goes directly to making a tangible difference in the lives of our local veterans. Join us for this powerful evening and secure your tickets early!”
