The Brittany Foundation Help Us Find Their Forever Home – March 2026
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
Vera
Vera is a 9-year-old Chihuahua with big energy and an even bigger personality. She came to us from the Castaic Shelter scared and overwhelmed, labeled “Rescue Only” and in need of a second chance. Since arriving in 2024, Vera has completely blossomed. She is playful, athletic, curious, and always ready for fun, attention, and adventure. Honestly, we are surprised she is still here. She is ready for a home that can match her spirit and keep up with her zest for life. Follow Vera’s adventures and see more of her personality on Instagram at @thebrittanyfoundation.
Bonny
Bonny is a Central Asian Shepherd, an ancient guardian breed known for loyalty, independence, and strong protective instincts. At about 3 years old and 150 pounds, she is a powerful dog who did not receive proper early socialization and will need a very experienced, committed home that understands her breed. Bonny would do best on a property with space to roam and a calm, predictable environment. With the right person, Bonny is a deeply loyal and loving pup who is ready to start her new life.
Wally
Wally has the kind of face that instantly makes you happy. But don’t be fooled; this little guy has big feelings and can turn into a bit of a baby shark when overwhelmed. Here at the sanctuary, he thrives on routine, experienced care, and a calm environment where he can just be himself. He may not be a candidate for a traditional home, but he absolutely deserves love, patience, and a great quality of life. We are looking for a sponsor to help support Wally’s daily care, including food, medical needs, and the dedicated team that keeps him safe and happy. Wally is part of our family and always will be.
Chip
Chip is three years old, 80 pounds, and full of love, loyalty, and playful energy. This sweet bully-breed boy has gentle eyes and a big heart, but he also needs structure and guidance to reach his full potential. He is looking for an experienced adopter who understands strong breeds and can provide patience, consistency, and a calm, confident presence. Chip will do best in a home without small pets or young children. With the right person, he will reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless companionship, and a best friend for life.
Clarence
This charming senior pup arrived at the Castaic Shelter as a stray in 2024 and quickly stole the hearts of the volunteers. Luckily, he found a warm welcome here at The Ranch, where he enjoys calm, comfortable days. His eyes may be a little cloudy and his hearing not perfect, but he can still hear a treat wrapper crinkle from three rooms away! You can help make his golden days even better by sponsoring him. Your sponsorship supports his food, veterinary care, medications, and the dedicated staff who ensure he has a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.
Holly
Holly is ready for a fresh start this spring. This sweet, quirky medium-sized girl sets clear boundaries and knows what she wants. She’s looking for an adult-only home with no other animals. Holly loves cozy mornings, basking in the sunshine, and greeting familiar faces with a toy and a wagging tail. She’s ready to bloom in the perfect home. If you can’t adopt, maybe you can support her as a monthly sponsor and help provide for her care at the rescue.
Fluffy
Fluffy is a 3-year-old Golden Spaniel mix and another “Rescue Only” pup from the Castaic Shelter who arrived in 2024. Cute, clever, and a little complicated, he is full of personality and playful energy, but he needs patience and time to feel safe with new people. He sets boundaries as he learns to trust, but once that trust is earned, Fluffy turns into the sweetest, goofiest, most loyal sidekick. He loves his toys, enjoys a good game of fetch, and will happily keep you laughing with his silly antics. He is looking for an adult-only home with someone who understands that good relationships take time. A few visits here at the rescue will help start your bond off on the right foot.
Jasper
Jasper is smart, playful, and downright adorable. He loves having a job to do and staying busy, but cuddles? Not his thing. Adoption isn’t an option after his bumpy past, but with structure, patience, and consistent care, Jasper shines and brings joy in his own unique way to everyone here at the Ranch. He’ll always have a loving place here. Sponsor Jasper and be one of his people from wherever you are to help him live his best life.
