Ken and Betty Lou Wiseman Announce Purchase of the Historic Newhall Mansion
Ken and Betty Lou Wiseman are proud to announce the purchase of the historic Newhall Mansion, further deepening their commitment to the community of Piru and the surrounding Heritage Valley.
The Wisemans are already well known for their investment in Piru through their ownership of the Historic Mountain View Inn, Corazon de Piru Café, and Heritage Valley Vineyard and Wines. With the addition of Newhall Mansion, they continue their vision of helping Piru become a destination for hospitality, celebrations, food, wine, history, and unique experiences.
Known for its breathtaking architecture, scenic setting, and timeless charm, Newhall Mansion has long served as one of the region’s premier locations for weddings, private celebrations, and special events. Under the Wisemans’ ownership, the mansion will continue its tradition as a sought-after destination for elegant wedding celebrations while expanding its use to welcome more guests, organizations, and creative opportunities such as fundraising events, private parties, corporate gatherings, community events, and other special occasions.
“We are honored to become the next stewards of Newhall Mansion,” said Ken Wiseman. “It’s an extraordinary property, and we look forward to preserving its legacy while continuing to welcome couples, families, and organizations who want to celebrate here.”
“Piru is a very special place,” added Betty Lou Wiseman. “We believe deeply in its future, and we’re excited to create new opportunities for people to experience the beauty, history, and hospitality that make this community so unique.”
Beyond traditional event rentals, the Wisemans envision creating additional activities and experiences that allow more people to enjoy the mansion and its grounds. Their goal is to build upon the property’s legacy while making it a more active and accessible destination for the surrounding community and visitors throughout the region.
Together with the Historic Mountain View Inn, Corazon de Piru Café, and Heritage Valley Vineyard and Wines, Newhall Mansion will become part of a growing collection of Piru-based destinations that celebrate the area’s history, hospitality, food, wine, and community spirit.
“This is more than an event venue,” the Wisemans added. “It’s a place where people gather, celebrate, create memories, and experience something truly special. We are excited about the future of Newhall Mansion and about continuing to invest in Piru as a place people will want to visit, enjoy, and remember.”
More information about weddings, events, film production opportunities, fundraising events, and future activities at Newhall Mansion will be announced soon.
