It was brought to our attention that there has been a major lack of live music here in the Santa Clarita valley – more specifically soul, blues and jazz. Classic rock isn’t too hard to come by, but for our unique atmosphere, we decided to zero in on the rhythm and blues! So, with the help of Robert Altschuler from Command Recording Studios; providing back-up instruments, equipment and his superior mixing abilities, we are able to offer a truly professional performance. The other half of this sensational project is Bill Ruffino; long time Blues musician and event coordinator. His years of experience with local groups such as the SCV Blues Society and similar Jam sessions all over Southern California, he earns the title “Master of Ceremonies” for our Sunday Blues revival! Bill has recruited the league of extraordinary gentlemen for this weekly event; Stephen Semola on keys, Jim Kelly on guitar, Art Mendoza on the drums, Craig Williams on tenor/alto sax, Jim Scimonetti on woodwinds and Bill, himself rock’n the bass. All of these players are top shelf seasoned blues artists and will be on hand all evening to play alongside anyone interested in joining the group for a few songs. So, with that said, we invite any musicians, singers or fans of the Blues to join us! Come down, hang out, have fun and jam with the band. We will supply a house drum set, guitar amps and microphones, but you’re welcome to bring in whatever you might need… within means. Feel free to email us if you have any questions. If you would like to play, we suggest you get there as early as possible. Festivities will run all the way up to 7 p.m., so we’ll have more than enough time to give everyone a chance to jam with the band!
We also suggest you come hungry! There are dozens of great new items on the menu. You can also call ahead and reserve one of our draft tables, where you’re free to pour your beers from your own tap right at the table! We also offer happy hour all day, in the form of “Premium Margarita Pitchers.” Choose from four fresh fruit flavors!
