Although we love our jeans, there is nothing wrong with reinventing denim and adding some new admirable favorites to our closets. Just as you thought they wouldn’t be seeing brighter days, here are a few trends to keep denim in use all year round.
Overalls are back and looking as stylish as ever. Glam up the grade school look with a crop top and some killer heels. The perfect flirty and sexy outfit for date night. Otherwise, keep your getup casual and sporty with a pair of sneakers.
Say bye to your skinny jeans ladies, boyfriend jeans are now taking over. Worn-in and distressed denim is an ultimate must-have this season. Find them in multiple colors and washes including light denim, dark denim, white or black. If you are not too fond of this relaxed and roomy style, opt for a slim boyfriend fit that meets right in the middle.
A jean jacket or a chambray button up is the perfect alternative for those cool summer nights. Add an edgy and modernized take on the simple jean jacket with a cropped motorcycle cut. A chambray shirt is even lighter, but still provides the coverage you need when the temperature drops. You can keep it unbuttoned or tuck it into a high waisted skirt to wear as a top.
Similar to the overall trend, we are revisiting the once 90’s staple and introducing denim skirts back into our wardrobe. If you work in a more casual environment, a pencil or an a-line skirt that hits right above the knees may be suitable when paired with a dressy blouse.
