Bonnie Shandelson of Santa Clarita is the winner of the Beyond Harmony Make-Over grand prize featured in The Magazine of Santa Clarita. Her name was announced live on KHTS AM1220 on November 6. The contest had been running from early October and in order to enter, contestants went on to the Beyond Harmony Facebook page every day to try to win a gift of Spa and/or restaurant row certificates.
Those winners were entered into a grand prize drawing for a spa makeover consisting of skin treatments, home care products; Botox and Juvederm injections in our med spa.

To date, Bonnie has received Hydrating Facials, Medical Skin peels, Eyebrow Arching, Microdermabrasion and Collagen Eye Treatments from Rosemary Murphy, owner and lead esthetician at Beyond Harmony. She has also received Botox and Juvederm from Denise Loverro, RN. Her complete hair make over done by Kelly included cut, color and styling at Studio Bijoux Salon (Beyond Harmony staff’s go-to stylist!) Bonnie then had a session with renowned make-up artist, Javier Mena (661-803-3260). Total cost of her spa treatments and products were valued at $900, and dermal fillers supplied by Allergan were worth $1,800 for a Grand Prize worth over $2,500! The combined total of all services are far less than the cost of invasive surgery plus no downtime. The entire process took about five weeks from start to finish.
Continuing with their goal of giving back to their clients and the community, Beyond Harmony has launched a new contest in conjunction with The Magazine of Santa Clarita and KHTS to give away a facial every month during 2015. Details will be announced shortly on AM1220 for a weekly contest on Facebook, much the same as the make-over contest, however the opportunity for 12 people to win will allow them to give away spa treatments in Santa Clarita all year. The 12 winners will be entered into a grand prize drawing in December of 2015 for a complete make-over.
Bonnie was fantastic about posting her progress on the Facebook page after every treatment. Her information was fun and filled with her impressions of what she was receiving and her reactions to all of the sessions. Her posts are still available on the page for anyone who would like to track her progress from start to finish. All of the technicians at the spa were so happy to take on the challenge and thrilled with the results which showcase all of their talents.
