Light The Night, Saving Lives One Step at a Time – Our Cover Story
This year’s Light The Night walk to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at Bridgeport Park in Santa Clarita. Volunteers, patients, survivors, families, friends and local businesses will join together for an evening of hope, the hope to find a cure for blood cancers. Light The Night is a nationwide walk supported by walk teams and individual walkers. Walk teams are made up of families, co-workers, schools and friends. The biggest walk team in 2006 was a team made by students that raised over $83,000.

New owner, Laurent Feuerhelm, worked along-side previous owner Greg Spinrad for five years. When Mr. Spinrad moved into another arena of tire services, Laurent jumped at the opportunity to continue the business.

A very popular event offered by the city of Santa Clarita and the Blue Ribbon Task Force, Teen Scene Unplugged draws over 500 parents, teens and community members every year.
