Permanent Cosmetics— Both Gorgeous and Time Efficient

Permanent Cosmetics— Both Gorgeous and Time Efficient

The thought of spending less time and hassle with your make-up preparation may seem like an impossible task.  Wouldn’t it be nice to go through the day without an eyebrow wearing off or eyeliner that doesn’t smudge and a lip color that remains with you the entire day?  With the holiday season just around the corner, now is the time to start thinking about permanent cosmetics or micro-pigmentation.  As we age, we tend to lose the color of our youth.  We often hear women complain of feeling “washed-out” as they get older.  Another common complaint is the “disappearing lip-line”, it seems to fade into and become part of our facial skin color.

Kundalini Yoga for Cancer Patients and Their Families

Kundalini yoga is a physical and meditative discipline that creates a communication between mind and body.  It is sometimes called “the yoga of awareness” because it awakens the unlimited potential that already exists within every human being by linking movement with breath.  Kundalini is a concentrated form of prana, or life force energy.  Its direct focus is on activating and moving this energy through the body with emphasis on the breath.  The goal is to change how we breathe, making it more conscious and helping us to reach tranquility and serenity.

What are Probiotics and What Do They Do?

What are Probiotics and What Do They Do?

In the early 20th Century, an ‘Intoxication Theory’ was proposed that stated that aging may be caused by the toxic waste of certain unfriendly bacteria and that the ‘harmless’ bacteria found in cultured/fermented milk products, like yogurt, may have beneficial effects.  Lactic-acid-secreting bacteria were identified as being most beneficial, and today these lactobacilli and bifidobacteria species hold great promise for enhancing human health.

A Recession — Proof Life

As most of us are feeling the real pressures of life, a basic yet important need is emerging within us: the need to truly take care of ourselves and find balance in our lives. However, finding balance in life can be very difficult if we feel bombarded by stress and fear.  So what can we be doing to achieve that balance, to find relief and peace?  Here are a few tips you can use in your daily life:

You Hurt Me Intentionally

You Hurt Me Intentionally

How often have we felt that someone we care about hurt us intentionally?  Before we escalate conflict, we need to ask what this person has to gain by hurting us.  Frequently, our own self-protection patterns attack before we seek the facts.  Are we talking about miscommunication or insensitivity?

Degeneration of the Spine

Degeneration of the Spine

Do you think that having back pain is a normal part of life?  The fact is that those aches and pains may be warning signs that your back is wearing out, or degenerating, prematurely.  Everyday your spine has to handle the stresses you put on it.  Whether your job requires repetitive bending, lifting or twisting, or doing things as simple as getting into your car or caring for your baby, your spine has to support your upper body and help you move. These activities produce repeated micro (tiny) traumas to your spine and its supporting structures, contributing to spinal degeneration.
