Ten Fitness Tips to Keep You Excited, Engaged and Motivated!
The sad reality is that most people who set health and fitness related goals in the new year have already given up by March. On some level it is understandable in that juggling the everyday struggles and stresses of life while also trying to stay motivated to workout is extremely challenging. Hence, why most people give up. Do you want to be a quitter or a finisher? Summer is right around the corner and if you stay the course and continue to workout and eat healthy you will look and feel your best by summer! If you don’t; well you probably already know how that story goes right? The fact is summer is more enjoyable when you are happy with your body. Humans are visual creatures that appreciate attractive things in life. Luckily, I am providing you with 12 fitness tips to keep you excited, engaged and motivated! Follow these tips and you will find it easier to get and stay motivated in your health and fitness journey!
1. Set goals for your fitness training and be specific! Setting goals that you can track will keep you focused and motivated.
2. Visualize your training success! Having a clear idea of what you want to achieve will keep you moving forward.
3. Record your training progress! Tracking your progress will provide you with encouragement along the way.
4. Put your alarm clock out of reach! You are more likely to wake up and workout if you can’t reach your alarm clock from bed.
5. Choose workouts you that you like! If you enjoy what you’re doing you are by far more likely to stick with it!
6. Exercise with a friend! It can be fun having friends to workout with and it also helps keep your accountable!
7. Do a challenge or make a bet! Doing a fitness challenge and or making a bet with friends will increase the accountability factor!
8. Join a gym with classes and or hire a personal trainer! Attending classes and or hiring a trainer with provide you with knowledge, accountability and motivation!
9. Adopt exercise role models! Having someone to look up will inspire you to reach your goals!
10. Cross-train! Cross-training increase results and will help keep your program fun and exciting!
