What is 3D or 6D Brow?
Unlike tattoos, “eyebrow embroidery”, commonly known as “microblading” is semi-permanent in nature and usually lasts up to two years. This technique is meant to make your eyebrows look more natural. In this process, colored pigments are added to the skin filling in the parts where the eyebrow is sparse. With the help of a feathering mechanism, this process helps to create a natural look as pigments are being used to perfectly match the color of your actual eyebrow.
Then, what is the difference between 3D and 6D Embroidery?
More strokes called “micro strokes” are involved in the 6D procedure, which helps to generate much more natural looks. If you want to get this type of eye embroidery done, the Korean method of this particular eye embroidery is also very popular and they are known for their skills when it comes to perfection and generating the best of results. 3D is usually created with hair strokes and gives a no-makeup look while 6D is created with a power fill look as well as micro strokes in two different tones.
What are the Benefits of 6D?
Your eyebrows play a major role in determining the overall looks of your eyes. Here are some of the benefits which can be associated with this form of eye embroidery.
• It helps to make thin or sparse eyebrows look fuller
• It is possible to create and reposition arches. This helps to give a natural lift to the eyes.
• It is possible to adjust the length and width, which makes it a customized procedure
• If you have alopecia or you have over plucked, then there is no need to worry. With this eyebrow embroidery procedure, you can have attractive and beautiful eyebrows.
Generally speaking, microblading artists avoid working over someone else’s work. Not only is it difficult to see their fine line drawings over old ink, but when the artist works over already-inked skin, results become much less predictable.
Note: If it’s not your first time under the needle, the artist you choose may not want to touch you. If they do, you’re likely getting charged extra for color correction—it can be a huge pain to match ink colors, mask discoloration and blurring, and in most cases the customer still cannot get the result that they desire to achieve.
