S.T.R.E.A.M. Talk – April 2018
Welcome to S.T.R.E.A.M. Talk, my name is Niamani Knight and I’m 16 years old. As the founder of S.T.R.E.A.M. Kids Expo™ our organization is working to bridge the gap between students and S.T.R.E.A.M subjects. With these Talks we hope to see more kids get involved with these areas of study and also help those who are already interested in them, navigate to accomplish goals. S.T.R.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Manufacturing. And yes, this also includes entrepreneurship! We have included this because, we believe business owners typically don’t quit! They reach and own their outcomes, a vital skill needed for our emerging leaders. The S.T.R.E.A.M. Kids Expo™ mission is to challenge kids today to own possibilities tomorrow through interactive events, industry expert exposure, and peer support. In our talks we will discuss various aspects of these industries and how we as students can get involved. We will be discussing some pointers for parents to help their students along their way. Look for us each month in The Magazine of Santa Clarita and we hope our advice will help you get in the S.T.R.E.A.M of things!
