Exercise can be exciting! Why bother?
Increasing physical activity is one of the most important factors to promote, and most importantly, maintain weight loss. Increased physical activity is one way to increase your metabolic rate during exercise and even for a long period of time after.
• It helps in reducing fat while preserving lean muscle mass.
• It burns calories!!!
• It may decrease your appetite.
• It enhances self-image and your sense of well-being.
What are exercises even I can do?
• Walking is an ideal activity for weight loss. It’s easy, inexpensive, improves the strength of your muscles in your legs, abdomen and back. Also, you can usually walk further than you can run.
• Swimming
• Running
• Aerobic Video tapes and Classes
• Running up and down your stairs
Other Ways:
• Park your car further away so you have to walk more
• Take the stairs instead of the elevators when possible
