The Art of Loving… Sharing Your True Self!
In the month of February, we celebrate Love. It’s traditionally a lover’s holiday; Valentine’s Day. For many, this is an uncomfortable holiday if you aren’t currently in a relationship. It might be equally uncomfortable if you are struggling in a relationship. With it still early in the New Year, reset and decide to take the love challenge. Love yourself unconditionally. Be your own best friend, do things to improve yourself like yoga and meditation. Select a mantra and say it throughout the day and during class: I love myself, my higher self. I am filled with love, peace, joy, and light! When taking a class continue with this intention. If a negative thought comes into your mind, replace it with a positive one: I deserve to be happy and healthy. I’m showing that I do love myself by being in class and uniting my body, mind, and spirit. In turn, this mindset will make it easier to love others and provide them grace. That certainly will improve a bumpy relationship. Hot Yoga Haven, your community yoga center, wants to celebrate love by hosting a Valentine’s Evening Yoga class. Join us Friday, February 14 at 8 p.m. Take the themed Love class by yourself, with a friend or a significant other, and enjoy refreshments; chocolate covered strawberries, cider and some bubbly after class. Also, spend time with our community and loved ones. It’s free for auto-debit and annual members and $10 for non-members. Let’s Celebrate Love together! Call Lexie at HYH to sign up at 661-255-1500.
