It’s Time to Support One Another

Yes, the news is as bad as it sounds, but it will pass. You are not alone, most everyone feels the same anxiety, but there are positive steps we can all take to help one another to get through these times. Our latest advertisement is simple, we make a very simple and basic statement “If you need it, and we have it, we will share it, we can all do this”. This will be our new mission statement, and I think it’s long overdue.
As for you and your family. It starts with a simple phone call. If you have an abundance, share it. The power of giving is adrenaline for your soul. If you and others purchased a little too much toilet paper, water, and six to 12 month supplies of canned goods, then find out who needs it, and offer some of it up. It will make you feel good and get right with the times. You can make simple care packages of three to four bottles of water, three to four rolls of toilet paper, and three cans of tuna fish. Small care packages will go a long way. You can get creative and make your own packages of homemade cookies, bread, and some of those extra Disney DVD’s you have laying around. Those will be great for families with kids. Ask yourself, are we doing enough, and can we be doing more?
