Improvise, Adapt and Overcome
We are dealing with a very challenging situation that very few saw coming. There is no doubt this has been difficult for everyone to deal with. We’ve been thrust into a situation that we have very little control over. I know I myself have felt a rollercoaster of emotions as I deal with all of the new challenges associated with the quarantine. Sometimes I feel positive and determined. Oftentimes I feel frustrated and anxious. I’ve put extra effort into monitoring my thoughts.
During this crisis and in life in general we must Improvise, Adapt and Overcome our circumstance if we want to survive and thrive. How can you improvise with the resources you have available? How can you adapt to the current situation? How can you overcome the obstacle you’re dealing with now? You have to have a determined mindset if you’re going to come out of this quarantine in good shape mentally and physically. You must fight off the victim mentality and the negative thoughts. You can’t give in to the anxiety and worry. You can’t let the laziness take over. Dig deep and find that inner strength to be proactive and productive. You will immediately feel better once you take action.
I know this is easier said than done but it’s well worth the effort. It all starts with an intention and then setting your mindset. You must be determined to Improvise, Adapt and Overcome this situation. You will be amazed by what you think of when you change your perspective. Where there is a will there is always a way. Good luck my friends!
